View IP Configuration in Linux?

We can view IP configuration in Windows easily with a simple command like ipconfig, view all connected applications and services by using command ipconfig /all.
Linux OS like centOS,Ubuntu has a similar command that shows the IP configuration of the machine. In command prompt type ifconfig, this will show you the IP address and other information related to your network cards and wireless adapters.
ifconfig for wired network.
iwconfig for wireless network with ndiswrapper.
